What a fantastic December we’ve had in Senior Infants! Here’s a peek at all the exciting activities we’ve enjoyed this month:
- Maths: We had fun counting to 15, exploring tens and ones, and getting hands-on with shapes!
- Aistear Play: Our classroom transformed into Santa’s Workshop, where we built with Lego, completed puzzles, wrote letters to our class elf, and created festive arts and crafts!
- PE: We wrapped up our gymnastics lessons and had a blast practising our Gaelic football skills!
- Friendship Building: We enjoyed Colour & Chat, reading a friendship book, had a class dance party, playing Find Someone Who, and showed off our amazing talents!
- Gaeilge: We learned lots of Christmas vocabulary and played games in Gaeilge!
- Science: We explored electricity and talked about the power cut during the storm – a real-life science lesson!
- Religion: We learned all about Advent and the true meaning of Christmas.
- Christmas Fun: We sang carols in the Church, raised money for St. Vincent de Paul with our busking, and had a special visit from Santa himself!
Wishing all our Senior Infants families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Enjoy the festive season!
