Junior Infants have had a fantastic couple of months filled with fun, learning, and exciting experiences!
Active Week
In April, we took part in Active Week, which was a huge success. Throughout the week, the children enjoyed a variety of activities including football, athletics, tag rugby, and dancing. The week concluded with a wonderful Sports Day, organised and facilitated by our hardworking Sixth Class pupils. The children had great fun taking part in all the events and showed excellent enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the week.
School Tour
In May, Junior Infants headed off on their much-anticipated school tour to Navan Adventure Centre. We all had an amazing day packed with exciting activities and hands-on learning experiences.The day began with the children making gooey slime, which they proudly brought home in little tubs. There was plenty of laughter as they took part in fun races on inflatable animals, created giant bubbles, and enjoyed playing in the sand. The tour ended with some fascinating science experiments, where the children witnessed the effects of static electricity and were amazed by an air cannon demonstration!
