April Recap

We had a very busy April here in senior infants.  Firstly we had food dudes, which the children loved and done great it!

Secondly we had a visitor come in to talk to us about road safety.  The children were brilliant at answering questions and recognising the dangers that can happen on roads and what we can do to keep safe.

We also had visitors come in and show us items from the past.  Some of the items we saw were old lamps, irons, jugs, water bottles, milk churners and so much more.  The children asked great questions and were so interested in everything the visitors had to say.  It linked great with what we were learning about in history, which was old clothes from the past.  How brilliant!

Lastly, in maths we looked at time.  This can be a very difficult topic for children but the senior infants were brilliant at it.  So brilliant that we started looking at first and second class work!!  We played some time board games and other games.  It was so much fun!

We had a jam packed April, but we worked hard and had so much fun while doing it.  I wonder what the month of May will bring us?!
