Catching Skills

This month, Junior Infants have been working on their catching skills in PE. Catching is a fundamental movement skill that children need to learn for lots of different sports. They were practicing walking around throwing beanbags and small bags up and catching them again. The children also worked in groups and in pairs to develop their catching skills. Some children were so good that they were able to do it with only one hand!
