The entire school was delighted to see former Dangan pupil and joint Meath Captain Jack Regan win the Christy Ring Cup at the weekend. He visited the school yesterday and spoke encouraged the pupils in Dangan NS to continue to play hurling and practice their skills. Full back Shane Brennen, full-forward Eamon Óg and kit man Gerry McGloughlin also called in to sign autographs and speak to the kids. The kids got plenty of autographs and pictures.
