In January, we focused on the strand of Dance in our PE lessons.
Senior Infants were developing their dance skills through fun and engaging activities. They learned The Bare Necessities dance, practising footwork and balance movements, and enjoying games like musical statues to build confidence and coordination. Well done Senior Infants!
4th class were learning the ‘Ping Pong Jive’ with lots of opportunities for their own improvisation. Great work 4th Class!
5th class were working on our steps, footwork, rhythm and how to keep to the beat when learning a dance to Wagon Wheel. There was plenty of opportunities to showcase their skills and to add in their own improvisations.
