Green-Schools is Ireland’s leading environmental management and education programme for schools.
The aim of Green Schools is to increase pupils awareness of environmental issues and to make a positive change to the environment around them. Schools that have successfully completed all the elements of the programme are awarded the ‘Green Flag’.
To date Dangan National School has achieved four green flags for; Litter and Waste, Energy, Water, Travel and most recently our Bio Diversity Flag!
