First Class to Sixth Class are taking part in the MS Readathon again this year. It is taking place from 1st – 30th November and it is an excellent opportunity for children to challenge themselves or rediscover their inner bookworm! Not only will participation help foster a love of books in children, it will also raise funds for people living with Multiple Sclerosis in Ireland.
Last week, we were lucky to receive a visit from Maurice from MS Ireland. He talked to all classes and gave them an insight into what it is like living with MS as well as how sponsorship money will be spent.
Meanwhile, the children are busy reading a variety of books at home and in school, as seen in the pictures of 4th class below!
