What a fantastic October we’ve had in Senior Infants, filled with fun activities and lots of hands-on learning! Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to this month:
- Birthday Months: Learned and charted classmates’ birthday months.
- Shadow Science: Created and recorded shadows outside.
- Leaf Rubbings: Made leaf rubbings with collected autumn leaves.
- Capacity Testing: Measured capacity using rice and sand.
- Powerball Competition: Enjoyed a fun, friendly Powerball challenge.
- Puzzle Time: Worked on teamwork and problem-solving with puzzles.
- Autumn & Maths Trails: Explored nature looking out for signs of autumn. Practiced counting and making shapes outside.
- Autumn Art: Created seasonal artwork inspired by autumn colours.
- Haribo Maths: Practiced counting and sorting with Haribo sweets!
