Science week

For Science week on the 14th November, the children did experiments on Skittles. They learned how skittles are made of balls of sugar and covered with various food colours. The children put the skittles on a plate and added warm water and watched the colours come off the skittles. The children also put skittles of the same colour into little containers and watched the water change colour. They were fascinated to see that the skittles had turned back to white when all the food colouring had washed off them.
