The Senior Infants have been very busy and have enjoyed a fun-filled few weeks of learning and creativity. They loved learning new dances, including The Bear Necessities, and practising the actions to You’ve Got a Friend in Me, which brought lots of smiles and laughter to the classroom. The children also created beautiful pieces of art and were so proud to perform for their grandparents during our special Grandparents’ Day celebration, where everyone enjoyed tea and cakes together in the school hall.
The class has enjoyed taking part in Cosmic Yoga / stretching activities, helping them develop balance, co-ordination, build confidence, and develop their gross motor skills. In Maths, the children have been exploring shapes and using them to create pictures and models, showing great imagination and problem-solving skills. It has been a great time of learning, movement, and celebration for our Senior Infants!
